Choose your family
Mint a Backer and pick your faction. Four equally sized armies of 1,111. Your faction is permanent — you're never randomly assigned, and it can never be changed later.
FACTIONS is a parody experiment that cannot be undone, unwound, or refunded. This gate exists so nobody gets to say afterwards that they were not told.

The Backers present
4,444 NFTs. Four permanent factions. Four market assets. One daily battle. Hold a Backer to earn protocol rewards; every 24 hours the family whose asset performs best takes the pot.
Your NFT is your membership. Your family is your position. The market decides who wins.
The Backers turns holding an NFT into taking a side in a daily market competition. You don't buy four NFTs and hope one wins. You choose one family — permanently attached to your Backer and paired with its own real market asset.
Each family has exactly 1,111 Backers and one permanently paired asset. Once you choose, you're in — the faction is arithmetic on the token id, not a database row that can be edited.

Your NFT isn't just a membership card. 35% of protocol fees accrue to holders across every minted Backer. You don't need to trade daily — holding is the position.
Every 24 hours the four paired assets are measured on percentage performance. A +8% move beats +2% whether the asset costs $20 or $2,000. Best move wins the round.
35% of protocol fees flow into the Daily Jackpot. At the end of each round the four factions are ranked by their paired asset's performance. The family in first place takes the entire pot, split equally across its Backers. The other three take nothing. Then the clock resets.
No voting. No popularity contest. No manual winner. Performance decides.
Tied to holding a Backer. 35% of protocol fees accrue across every minted NFT and can be claimed by whoever holds the token. Your NFT keeps earning while you hold it.
The daily prize pool. 35% of protocol fees. At the end of every round, the faction with the strongest paired-asset performance wins it — split equally across that family's Backers.
The remaining 30% supports running The Backers. The split is fixed by the protocol's economics, the same every round. The percentages are the rules of the system.
The treasury has no owner withdrawal — no sweep, no rescue, no upgrade path. Reward and jackpot pools leave in exactly one direction: towards holders. Verify it on the explorer.
The Backers aren't four NFTs copied 1,111 times. Every member is generated from its family's Genesis character — same bloodline, different soldier — with its own suit, expression, accessories, background and rare traits. Traits are a pure function of the token id: verifiable by anyone.
Every round has a defined start and end. The protocol records the asset prices, calculates each pair's performance and determines the winner. Your family can dominate one day and lose the next. A quiet day for stocks could belong to the memes. A meme crash could hand the round to NVDA. You never know who's taking the next round.
Comes from the NFT itself — arithmetic on the token id.
Follows the protocol's fixed 35 / 35 / 30 allocation.
Calculated from defined market data over the round window.
Records the evidence hash used to determine the result.
Proof, not promises. You shouldn't have to trust a screenshot telling you who won — you should be able to verify the result.

No promises, no vibes — a sequence of on-chain activations that switch on as the collection sells through. Each one is code that already exists, waiting for the supply to hit the mark.
Hold your NFT. Earn your rewards. Back your family. Watch the market. When the round closes, someone takes the pot.
